Amber Raja is the Administrator for the Resilience Research Centre. Born in Pakistan, her family migrated to Canada in 1977. She returned to Pakistan in 1997 to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Peshawar, followed by training certificates in teaching. After relocating to Halifax in 2007, she joined the Resilience Research Centre. Along with her many other duties as Administrator, Amber has coordinated several events, including the RRC’s international conference in 2010 and 2015. Amber is also the first point of contact at the centre, responsible for linking people to the work of the RRC.
